I decided to write a short description of me also in English since there are loads of exchange students at the campus. Propably none of them are reading this but what the heck! I don't feel like sleeping yet! :)
So I'm a candidate in the student representative council elections. I've lived my whole life in Vaasa so I know the city and the campus quite well. At the university I've participated in many extracurricular activities. For example I've helped Warrantti and PoPO organize parties and other gatherings. Because of this Warrantti chose me this fall as their "Warranttilainen of the year".
In the student representative council my main task would be to balance VYY's economy. Currently we are losing money and something needs to be done and fast if we don't want to start cutting services. Also I strongly oppose any plans to sell Leipis. It's a great place to throw parties and one that the student organizations can afford.
